I posted this originally to my CDJ, but haven't gotten a response so I thought I'd try my luck here:
Anyone who follows or participates in a comm that is fanfic-centered, what are usually the posting requirements (ie, info that needs to be included when posting/linking fic)?

We run a community that is fanfic-centered. The requirements we have are these:

1. we like all fic over 100 words to be behind a cut. Also, anything under 100 words that features explicit (NSFW) material and character death must be under that cut.

2. we also have a posting format that goes like this:

[in the Subject Line]: Title of Fic/Art, Fandom (Pairing)

[in the Body]:
Title:
Author:
Rating:
Warnings:
Word count:
Summary:
A/N:

We prefer that the author warn for character death or any explicit material and rate the fic so that potential readers know what they are getting into.

We also like a brief summary and allow the authors to include an author note if need be.

Ideally, they should either post their work directly to the community or link it to either their journal or some archive.

We use tags on fanfic posted in the community, but tagging permissions are left up to the moderator to keep things streamlined and neat.

And that's...pretty much it.

Yeah, it's pretty standard. And no I don't mind if you use it. A/N does stand for author's notes.
